Quick Start for Teachers (5-Minute Setup)

A simple, step-by-step guide to launch your first Snorkl activity.

Updated this week

Getting started with Snorkl takes just a few minutes. Follow these simple steps to launch your first activity and see student thinking come to life.

1️⃣ Try It Yourself

If you haven’t yet, start by trying a sample activity as a student. You’ll experience exactly what your students will see—recording your thinking, receiving feedback, and revising your response.

2️⃣ Explore the Snorkl Library

Next, navigate to the Snorkl Library and find activities relevant to your subject or grade level.

We recommend beginning with the Getting Started activities—they’re designed to give students of any age a smooth, engaging first experience with Snorkl.

3️⃣ Assign to Your Class

Once you’ve found an activity you like, select Assign. If you haven't created a class before, Snorkl will let you add one from the Assign Screen in the bottom left corner.

Once assigned, Snorkl will generate a share link or join code for your class—no rostering or setup required.

4️⃣ Share with Students

Share the link or join code with your students. They can sign in easily with their Google or Microsoft account.

5️⃣ Monitor and Celebrate

As students work, you’ll see their responses and feedback in real time. Celebrate their efforts—and be sure to give them time to revise!

Snorkl saves every attempt, so you and your students can see growth over time.

✅ That’s It

You’re ready to start exploring how Snorkl brings student thinking to the surface.

In just minutes, you’ll have students speaking, drawing, and reflecting on their learning—while you gain insight into every mind in the room.
