You can edit any activity from the Snorkl Library by adding it to your own library first. Once added, you’ll have full control to modify the whiteboard, instructions, or AI-generated criteria before assigning it to your class.
How to Customize an Activity from the Snorkl Library
Navigate to the Snorkl Library.
Find the activity you’d like to edit.
Click Add to My Library — located at the bottom right of the activity card (next to Assign).
A confirmation message will appear in the bottom-right corner of your screen that says “Activity added to your library.”
Click the message to jump directly to My Library, or open My Library from the top menu to view your activity.
💡 Pro tip: Sort your library by Last Updated to see your newly added activity appear right at the top.
Click into the activity to open it. You now have your own editable copy from the Snorkl Library.
Edit any part of the activity, including:
The whiteboard (add or adjust prompts and visuals).
The instructions for students.
When you’re done editing, click the purple outlined “Generate from Question” button to create new AI answer criteria — or simply scroll down to edit the existing criteria if you just want to make small changes to the rubric.
Edit the auto-generated prompt & rubric or confirm if it looks good to go.
Once your updates are complete, you can assign the activity to your class or try it as a student to preview the experience.
✅ Tip: Editing a Snorkl Library activity creates a personal copy — the original stays unchanged for from the Snorkl Library.
