My Library & Organizing Collections

Learn how to access and organize your Snorkl Library — build templates, group activities, and share collections with colleagues.

Updated this week

To access My Library, click on Library in the top navigation bar, then select My Library from the dropdown menu.

Your My Library is where all of your activity templates and collections live:

  • Activity templates are the master versions of your activities — the ones you’ve created yourself or added from the Snorkl Library or your School/District Library.

  • Collections are like folders that help you organize and share groups of activities with colleagues.

When you assign an activity, Snorkl automatically creates a copy of that activity template for your students. You can edit the original template in your library at any time — and if you want those changes to apply to assigned activities, just use the Sync button.

Using Collections

Collections make it easy to keep your activities organized and collaborate with other teachers.

To create a new collection, click the Create Collection button on the right side of the screen:

Give your collection a name and choose a color. Then click, Create.

  • To add an activity to a collection, click the three dots to the right of the activity and select “Add to Collection.”

  • To move multiple activities at once, check the boxes to the left of each activity, then click the dropdown arrow at the top and select “Add to Collection.”

  • Collections can be shared with other teachers, making collaboration and resource-sharing simple.

    • To share a Collection with a colleague, click the three dots (⋯) to the right of the Collection name. Click "Manage Members" and type in your colleague's email address.

Note: Collaborators must already have a Snorkl account in order to be added as a member on the Collection.

  • Collaborators can add their own activities to the collection, but they cannot edit activities created by others.

  • Collaborators can also add additional collaborators to the collection.
