Seeing Student Progress Over Time

Learn how to view student progress across activities in your Snorkl class.

Updated this week

The Progress tab in Snorkl gives you a clear view of how your students are performing across all assigned activities. You can easily track growth, spot trends, and jump directly into student responses for deeper insight.

Viewing Class Progress

  1. Navigate to the Classes tab.

  2. Select the class you want to view.

  3. At the top right of the class view, click the Progress tab.

You’ll see a grid showing each student’s scores across all activities. Each column represents an activity, and each row represents a student.

Sorting and Viewing Options

At the top of the Progress tab, you can choose how to view student performance:

  • Best Try – shows the highest score a student has achieved for each activity.

  • Latest – shows the most recent attempt.

  • First – shows their very first response to the activity.

You can also use the Filters icon to sort:

  • Activities by Title (A–Z or Z–A), Start Date (First or Latest), or Latest Response.

  • Students by First or Last Name (A–Z or Z–A).

Viewing Individual Responses

  • Click a student’s score in the table to jump directly to that specific response.

  • Click an activity title at the top to open the full activity view and review all student submissions.

Exporting Progress Data

You can export the full class progress as a CSV file for your records, to upload to a grade book, or to share with administrators.
