Archiving a class allows teachers to remove it from their active classes list without deleting any data. This is helpful at the end of a semester or school year when you want to keep your dashboard organized but still retain access to past student work.
Archived classes can be restored at any time.
How to Archive a Class
Navigate to your Classes tab.
Click the three dots (…) next to the class you’d like to archive.
Select Archive from the dropdown menu.
Your class will move from the Current tab to the Archived tab (found in the upper-right corner of the page).
What Happens When a Class Is Archived
Teacher side
All student responses and activity data are preserved.
Teachers can still view past activities and student work.
Teachers cannot assign new activities to an archived class.
If needed, teachers can unarchive the class using the same three-dot menu.
✅ Tip:
Archiving does not delete your class or its data — you can still access all activities and student responses anytime under the Archived tab.
Student side
When a class is archived:
The class no longer appears in the student’s class list.
Students cannot access activities from that archived class.
However, students can still see their previous work in their Portfolio tab, where all of their completed responses are saved.
How to Unarchive a Class
Go to the Classes tab.
Click the Archived tab in the upper-right corner.
Find the class you want to restore and click the three dots (…) to the right.
Select Unarchive.
Your class will move back to the Current tab and become active again.
