  • They can click into a class to view all assigned activities

  • Here, students will see a list of their activities:

    • When activities were assigned

    • Due dates

    • Submission status

    • Scores (if submitted)

Alternatively, students can access an activity directly using a link from their teacher (or entering their teacher's join coice at join.snorkl.app), which will take them straight to the class or activity.

▶️ Opening an Activity

  • Click on an activity to open it

  • Students will see:

    • The instructions

    • A preview of the whiteboard

    • The due date (if one is set)

✏️ Creating a Response

Before recording, students can use the whiteboard to show their thinking:

  • Draw or write

  • Type text

  • Upload images

🎙️ Recording & Submitting

  • When ready, students click the purple “Record Screen + Voice” button to begin explaining their thinking.

  • Students record their verbal explanation out loud while interacting with the whiteboard

  • When finished, click End/Review

  • Then click submit to receive feedback

Students receive 2–3 pieces of personalized feedback that can be read aloud and are time-stamped to specific moments in their explanation.

🔁 Responding Again

After receiving feedback, students can try again:

  • Choose how to respond:

    • Continue on the same whiteboard and edit their previous work

    • Start fresh with a blank whiteboard

Once students begin a new response, they can click the clock icon to view their previous feedback

Students can then record a new explanation and submit again.

💡 Tip

Encourage students to use both visuals and voice—drawing and explaining together helps deepen understanding and leads to more meaningful feedback.
