Uploading from a PDF to a Snorkl Whiteboard

Learn how to upload from a PDF to your Snorkl whiteboard when creating activities.

Updated this week

Teachers can upload a PDF to a Snorkl whiteboard and select specific sections to turn into images for the activity. This is a great way to bring in worksheets or excerpts without uploading the entire page.

This works for:

  • Whiteboard Recording

  • Whiteboard Only

  • Audio Only (with whiteboard prompt)

How to Upload and Crop a PDF

  1. Go to Create Activity and open the whiteboard editor.

  2. Click the Image button in the whiteboard toolbar.

  3. Select Upload from PDF.

  4. Choose your PDF file from your device.

  5. Use the arrows at the top to navigate to the page you want.

  6. Use your cursor to click and drag over the section you’d like to capture.

    • The selected image will appear on the right side of the screen.

    • You can add multiple selections from the same PDF if needed.

  7. Click Add to Whiteboard.

  8. Resize and position the image as needed on your whiteboard.

💡 Tip: For the best student experience, aim to include 1–2 problems per whiteboard.
